About me
My name is David Herold, I'm 20 years old and for as long as I've known it, I've loved creating content. Whether it's having a camera in my hand or sitting behind a laptop on Photoshop, something about turning nothing into something is so satisfying to me. I'm passionate about photography and using my photos to further create content spread across social media.

In 2022, I spent time with the Everett AquaSox (High-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners) where I ran their social media page, took in-game photos and videos, and also assisted in writing press releases.

That same year, I was also able to shoot photos/videos at a Mariners game and a Rainiers game (AAA affiliate of Seattle). In 2023, I was able to shoot multiple Mariners games down in Peoria during spring training. I also shot a handful of games for the Tacoma Rainiers with the photos being used for promotional material on social media, game day booklets, and one of their trading cards.

When it comes to my gear, I am currently shooting with a Sony A7II and Sony FX30 and using a F4.5-5.6/70-300mm Sony lens. For aerial photography/cinematography, I am shooting with a DJI Mini 3

Aside from the AquaSox, in my time photographing sports, I have had my work used by sports agency CAA Baseball as well as bat company Birdman Bats. For more examples of my work, I have my Gondola profile linked below showcasing all the athletes, brands, and organizations that I've been able to work with:

I believe I'm just scratching the surface of my creative abilities and hope to continue learning new things as I add to my portfolio.
